In addition to the Kitchen cabinet demo, new work has been progressing on the Kitchen and second floor Bathroom.

The old hand-hewn posts are in and look great. They add a much needed and appropriate antique, rustic element between the Kitchen and Dining Room. They will eventually anchor the corners of the new Kitchen Island.

The bathroom fixtures are finally in and we now have a fully functional bathroom on the second floor. The old wood floors have been sanded and refinished. We still have painting and lighting to install but the bathroom is a huge addition to our comfort in the house.
