Work began in May 2018 to tear down the old shed and continued through June and July. It was exciting to see the views open up as the shed was coming down. The shed  had completely blocked our views to the back. But as these photos show, we can now enjoy the gorgeous scenery from the house and sit on porch and see across to the new pond and fields beyond.

Yes, tearing down the shed has created a pile of debris of old wood and stone but a few bonfires and cleanup and we can start dreaming up plans for a patio, deck, dining area, firepit, or all of the above!
