Finishing Touches

It has been quite sometime since I last added a post about the house. Work is ongoing but has slowed. Winter in Vermont can be brutal on a house. Luckily this winter everything has been fine. No frozen pipes or major issues thank goodness. Several of us have been spending time enjoying the house and finishing up little jobs over the last couple of months.

The Kitchen has received a few finishing touches. The tile backsplash adds such a simple yet elegant statement. As does the pumpkin paint accent wall above the tile (recently painted by my mother). The under-cabinet LED lighting provides ample light on the worksurface by reflecting off the glossy finish on the tile. Other touches include adding new downlights over the sink and center work area.

Here are the latest pictures taken from most recent trip up there.
