Exterior Painting Update

After six weeks exterior painting on the house is nearly complete. It has been scraped, primed and painted and new gutters installed. The color is “PURE WHITE” from Sherwin Williams for trim and siding to stay true to the historic Federal style and highlight the simple, clean lines and details.

  1. No plans to put shutters back on the house. I actually think the house looks bigger and better all white, without the black. We will be doing more plantings in front and side of the house, and paint the front door a new color.

  2. It certainly looks lovely but the loss of the shutters is a bit sad astheyvadd to the character. Are there any plans to install new ones, at least fake?
